Summer in the Sunflowers is one of those special times of the year to round up your family, go on a road trip and let me create some photographic magic to give you some really special memories to treasure, especially in Golden Hour!

Summer in the Sunflowers is one of those special times of the year to round up your family, go on a road trip and let me create some photographic magic to give you some really special memories to treasure, especially in Golden Hour!
For this photoshoot, Maddie who is 16 decided to wear an ASOS blue floral dress with very little jewellery and a fine layer of natural-looking makeup.
We worked on styling her look and the shoot together which is something I love to do with every enquiry I receive, should you like me to.
Maddie became more comfortable in front of the camera and I think this was really evident as the afternoon went on.
The sunflower fields are on Hayling Island and are open in the Summer months every year.
It’s a very well set up site with social distancing in mind.
There are fields and fields of Sunflowers, flowers, haystacks and a viewing platform to capture some great shots.
It can be quite dusty in the heat and there are a number of food & drink companies there that will quench your thirst!
You can hire secateurs to take your sunflowers home for a very small nominal charge.
If you would rather you can donate your sunflowers to local retirement homes.

The sunlight and heat can be strong at this time of year and I have to bear this in mind particularly as strong sunlight can be tricky when doing this type of outdoor location photography.
My camera is well enabled to handle this though and the hour before sunset “Golden Hour” is my absolute favourite time of day!
The golden glow hands down beats any manmade lighting I can think of!
Maddie really glowed in this light and looked beautiful.
There really is little need for props in this location as the Sunflowers and floral fields speak for themselves…
Some other locations I have worked in are bluebell woods in East Ashling, Hundred Acres Woods, Titchfield Abbey, West Dean Estate, Victoria Park and many different beach locations.

All your images are edited to the highest quality and provided for you in high resolution on a USB key to print at your leisure.
In addition, I can provide prints in a fine art finish and a video of your still images to your favourite music.
