Hi I am Jayne a Hampshire real estate photographer working in the UK and beyond. I professionally photograph homes, gardens, commercial buildings and land in the UK and beyond.
With the growing popularity of Airbnb it has never been a better time to have your home photographed and documented through professional images.
Clients have used my photography services to sell their homes, rent their homes, Airbnb and also to have beautiful images of the homes they love.
Clients have even advertised their homes with my images for exchanging with other homeowners across the world. This home swap was featured in The Guardian.
My handmade albums also move the images from digital on a USB key to keep forever on the coffee table book where they are brought to life.
How many times have we kept our photographs digitally and never printed them or looked at them again.
Printing into a beautiful album keeps your memories alive forever.
A USB may break but a book truly lasts.
Why you might need professional property photography?
There are many reasons you might want to use professional property photography including:
How you can prepare for the project
1. Before the photoshoot I will visit you at the property and go through your requirements, checklist of what’s to be photographed, how long I expect it to take and what you can expect from the project
2. Clear all of the rooms of clutter, clean everywhere thoroughly to get the best results from your images
3. Certain things that work in an image of indoor property photography is plants! It makes a world of difference having something living in the photo. I will move plants around and make the best of each room and its accessories to get your photos looking as great as they can.
4. Open curtains and blinds to let in as much natural light into each room as possible.
5. Daylight is the best time to photograph homes and properties, so prepare for me to arrive in the day. Unless there is something specific outside that would look great at night for eg the property lit up or fountains.
6. Give your photographer time to edit the photos to their full potential.
This can be the most time-consuming part of the process and needs care and attention.
7. If several people live at the property try to arrange your photographer at a time when there will be as few people as possible around.
8. Give your photographer as much information as possible as to what you expect from them in what room or externally, so your brief is fulfilled correctly.
9. Expect to receive high-resolution images you can use on the internet.
I also offer prints, canvases and still images to music, in addition to my hand-crafted albums.
10. Leave your pets at home, they can be a great addition to your images!
Every photoshoot I complete I donate a percentage to Tonic Music for Mental Health, with my #booktogive campaign.
You book and I give to this wonderful charity supporting Mental Health suffering.
