This penthouse was an amazing photography commission.
Treadgolds in Portsmouth is steeped in history. From 1809 onwards the building was adapted to form an ironmongers and steelworks.
The original wheel is still in the eaves of this wonderful property and is visible along with all the original beams, these are a huge feature in every room. The living room also boasts an enormous hammock and glitter ball which reflects the owners’ love of music.
Throughout this building original features and character ooze from every room.
This space has been a family home for many years and as penthouses go this will take some beating!
I had the luxury of capturing all the nooks and crannies of this apartment for several days on my own with my camera – it was a property photographers dream.
It is not a photography project I will ever forget in a hurry…
The images I have produced for the owner will be used potentially to do a house swap on the other side of the world or possibly to rent out.
The owner was absolutely thrilled with the finished project. When I presented the images to him he said he had plans to blow some of the images up to hang in the communal hallways.
Do you have a property you would like captured on camera?
Perhaps as a gift to a spouse or loved one? Do you have a property or gardens you would like documented? Maybe you would like to rent or sell your home with some high-quality images?
Please contact me to discuss further I look forward to meeting you 🙂
